A Special Message
From The General Manager

Dear
Mediastream
Customer:
As
general manager, I want to personally thank you for being our
customer! For many years, the residents of
Waycross
have learned to trust Waycross Cable Company as their hometown
cable provider. 2009 was a memorable one in the history of
Waycross Cable Company. We now have a new name, Mediastream.
We brought you Video On Demand with hundreds of hours of free
content for digital cable customers and access to the top movies
with many available the same day as their DVD release. We launched
digital phone service that is saving our customers hundreds of
dollars a year compared to what they had been paying. We upgraded
all of our standard High Speed Internet customers to twice as fast
6 Mbps speed at no additional
charge. Our
team worked hard to serve you, our neighbors and we look forward
to continuing to work hard to earn your business.
Meet
the Manager
Steve Sippel is the new General Manager of
Mediastream. We thought you might want to know a little about Steve before you run into him at our office on Havanna Avenue:
Q: Your first day on the job, what did you notice most?
Steve: I noticed that the Mediastream
team is committed to doing right by their neighbors – with superior customer service. Many companies talk that talk, but the team here lives it. I am delighted to be a part of this Waycross team.
Q: What brought you here?
Steve: Mediastream
has just become part of James Cable. I was serving as General Manager for another James’ cable system in Georgia when I was named GM of this operation. Over my 30 years in community-based cable, I have enjoyed meeting the folks in town and becoming part of the communities that I serve. I will be based in Waycross, and my wife and I are looking for our new home here now. Any suggestions?
Q:
What kinds of new things will Mediastream
customers
see?
Steve: Mediastream
will still be
Mediastream, delivering great products with excellent customer service to the families and businesses of Waycross and surrounding Ware and Brantley counties. We will continue to look for opportunities to improve what we can do for you. Of course, if anyone has ideas they’d like to share, I would like to hear them. Here are the important questions …
Q: What’s your favorite BBQ
style?
Steve: I will be looking for the best pulled pork in town. I am also very happy to know that the National BBQ Festival will be here in November.
Q: Your favorite TV
show?
Steve: My wife and I enjoy the Food Network because it has shows about the food that is popular in different areas across the country. When I happen to have the TV to myself, you’ll find me watching any Outdoors show.
Thank you, Steve
Welcome to Waycross! We’ll see you around town.
