DVR Connection Instructions
 Connect
the RF coaxial cable from the wall to the “Cable In” connector
on the back of the DVR. (Surge protection preferred.)
 If
not connected already, connect the black power cord to the DVR.
Plug the power cord into a power outlet. (Surge protection
preferred.)
 Connect
the red/white audio cable to “Audio Right” and “Audio
Left” on the DVR and to the red/white “Audio Inputs” on your
TV*. (See diagram below.) Connect
the yellow video cable from the “Video Out” on the DVR to the
“Video Input” on your TV*. (See diagram below.)
 Tune
your TV to the corresponding “Video Input”.
- DVR Service requires a TV with
audio/video inputs.
- After the unit is first
powered on (or looses power), it may take two hours or more
for the i-Guide data to download. During this time, most DVR
features will be disabled.
- This connection method does
not support HD video. An HD connection requires different
cables and connections.
