OUR HISTORY

Waycross
Cable Company was founded in 1964. We are so proud of our long
history of service to our friends and neighbors in Ware and
Brantley counties. Waycross Cable has operated in the
capable hands of many dedicated employees and staff members
throughout its over forty year history. Mike Jury joined Waycross
Cable Company in September 2008 as General Manager. Mike brings a
wealth of experience to
Waycross
following years of accomplishments at cable companies including
WOW! and Baja Broadband.
In
2009, it became clear that Waycross Cable Company is much more
than just the cable television company it was in 1964. We provide
digital television, high definition television, video on demand,
the fastest high speed internet service available in
Waycross
, and we now offer digital phone service available with unlimited
long distance and free calling features. To reflect the updated
nature of our business, the employees voted in 2009 to change our
name to Mediastream.
Today,
we are a full-service entertainment and telecommunications service
provider. As
Mediastream,
we are “your link to the world” by providing a full range of
video services as well as high speed Internet connection and phone
service to
Waycross
and the surrounding communities.
Mediastream
also now offers commercial services to local business. We are able
to save our business clients an average of 40% on
telecommunications costs. We’re one local business
extending a helping hand to other local businesses in our area.
At
Mediastream,
all of us will continue to remember that we are working for you.
Our
goal every day is to serve our customers and continue to earn your
business the old-fashioned way. Some things never change!
